The family announced the pregnancy through a playful social media video in which they danced in the darkness wearing neon glow sticks attached to their clothing. In the caption, Swank hinted that the baby is due in December by writing that her next “project releases in December.” Swank and Philip Schneider married in August 2018 and welcomed twins in April 2023, when Swank was 48.
